Readers of Caravaning Magazin in Germany have voted for their best caravans of 2008.
The Airstream 684 was voted the best import caravan in the category 'Luxury and Hight Tech Caravans' and overall achieved a credible 3rd place in this category against home grown opposition.
No other imported caravans featured in the overall rankings.
Armin Heun of Roka Werk, Airstream's official representative in Germany had the honour of receiving the award on behalf of Airstream at the prestigious ceremony in Stuttgart.
Over 300 guests had been invited to the awards ceremony that took place at the CMT show. The show is one of the biggest international exhibitions for the tourism industry, and covers everything from tour operators to customised holidays.
Every year Stuttgart and the Fair attract over 190,000 visitors and 1,400 exhibitors from 82 countries at the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre.
Airstream will be showing 3 models from the International range at this year's Scottish Caravan & Outdoor Show 2008 being held at the SECC Glasgow from 7-10 February.

Visitors to the show will also be able to see a classic Airstream, a 1964 Bambi II at the entrance to the exhibition hall.
