Alumapalooza 2010Airstream Europe would like to invite you to join us and other European Airstream lovers on a special trip to the home of Airstream in the USA for the spectacular Alumapalooza 2010. We've teamed up with Travel Counsellors to offer an inclusive, guided excursion, sampling the delights of Chicago, historic Route 66 and of course… Alumapalooza at the Airstream factory in Jackson Center, Ohio. Alumapalooza is a festival of all things Airstream organized by Airstream Life Magazine. Held in the grounds of the Airstream factory, this home coming event is full of fun and festivities including dozens of informative and lifestyle seminars, live entertainment, factory tours, on-site vendors, live demonstrations, a car show, swap meet, Saturday night BBQ and nightly 'drive-in' movies. Airstream owners from far and wide flock to the home coming with their trailers to meet up with old friends, make new ones, share their touring experiences and love of all things silver. Day 1 – Wednesday 2nd June 2010 Depart London Heathrow at 1015 (check in 0700hrs) Direct flight in economy to Coach transfer (including guide) and overnight stay and dinner at the 4 star Doubletree Chicago on Magnificent Mile (or similar) Day 2 – Thursday 3rd June 2010 Breakfast at the hotel followed by a guided 4 hour Day 3 – Friday 4th June 2010 Breakfast in the hotel and then coach transfer to Airstream and ALUMAPALOOZA! (Including entry to Alumapalooza, factory tour, free time and hosted lunch – evening dinner / BBQ by own arrangements) Day 4 – Saturday 5th June 2010 Breakfast in the hotel and then coach transfer to Airstream and ALUMAPALOOZA! Including entry to Alumapalooza, free time and hosted lunch (Evening dinner / BBQ by own arrangements) Day 5 – Sunday 6th June 2010 Following breakfast in the Comfort Hotel, Sidney, we'll board the coach back to Chicago with lunch on route at a fast food restaurant, giving you plenty of free time to sample the delights of the 'Windy City' (evening dinner by own arrangement). Staying in a 4 star hotel. Day 6 – Monday 7th June 2010 We'll eat brunch in a Route 66 diner (to be included in price) before returning to central Depart 2015hrs for direct flight to London Heathrow, landing 1000hrs on Tuesday 8th June (check in 1700hrs at airport). Ground Only Alternatively if you do not wish to fly with the main party from Heathrow, we can offer a £600 per person 'Ground Only' option, where participants would make their own way to Chicago and join the group at the hotel on Wednesday 2nd June.
Deposit A deposit of £300 per person is needed to confirm flight & accommodations (and ground only bookings) - The deposit is required as soon as possible.
Flight Assistance Travel Counsellors can also assist with flights to and from Heathrow (or Chicago) to your nearest original / preferred destination. Please let us know if this is one of your requirements.
Want to Extend Your Holiday? Travel Counsellors would be happy to assist you in extending the duration of your stay in the US if you would like to continue your holiday after the Alumapalooza experience has ended. The above rates have been quoted in £GBP, are based on availability at the time of booking and are subject to change. Rates are per person, per room type. All hotels, services and rates referenced and contained in this quote are based upon the expectation of their availability at the time of an actual booking.
